KAJ SKJERVIK launches his album Everybody Thinks You're Great at the Nightjar, Truro, on Wednesday.
The upcoming Cornwall-based singer-songwriter said: "I don't know why I chose the title Everybody Thinks You're Great. Maybe I just like the positivity of it. It's something that we may think of people, but never actually say.
"The new album is me and my acoustic and I feel leads on from where my first album Dear Me! left off."
Featured on the track Moon Under Water is Penzance-based singer-songwriter Jenny Bishop.
Kaj added: "Getting back in the recording studio has been a strange experience. I feel very comfortable playing live, but the studio is something I have definitely got out of practice with. I play around 150-200 live gigs a year, and that's probably my comfort zone. Shaping songs into works I am happy with, will always be rewarding and exhausting."
Photography for the studio and album sleeve are provided by Sally Mitchell at Design Room Cornwall.
"Working with creative people such as Sally, is what makes projects such as this as much fun as they can be. I love Sally's photography and to be featured in her work, is very flattering."
