Under secretary of health visits local hospital

STAFF from Camborne-Redruth Community Hospital welcomed Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Health Daniel Poulter, MP, for a tour of the hospital and its facilities.

Dr Poulter was met by Peninsula Community Health chief executive Steve Jenkin and interim locality manager Ally Hardman and shown around the minor injuries unit and therapies department by matron Linda Retallick and therapies lead Gill Mead.

The Conservative MP said: "I was pleased to get the chance to visit Camborne-Redruth Community Hospital and to meet the dedicated staff and patients there."

Mr Jenkin said: "We were delighted to show Dr Poulter around our site on Thursday. Visits are always welcomed and our committed staff were delighted that Dr Poulter had taken an interest in our minor injuries unit and our therapies department."
