Welcome to a new era for online Cornish news, with the launch of our three new-look newspaper websites covering the whole of the Duchy.

After more than 15 years of providing news, sport and entertainment content, Thisiscornwall is closing to make way for a new, improved service through our three newspaper websites: westbriton.co.uk, Cornishguardian.co.uk and Cornishman.co.uk.

From today onwards, all of the news, sport and entertainment from across Cornwall will be posted on the three new-look sites, which have all been redesigned to provide a much better user experience, and which will be launched at the same time.

The change will allow us to improve the news coverage for your area, and to introduce many new exciting features over the coming months.

We are sure you will enjoy the new sites, and you can rest assured you will miss none of the news you have come to rely on us for.

Users of this site will be automatically redirected to westbriton.co.uk – as our central title. But if you’re more interested in news from North and South East Cornwall, please bookmark Cornishguardian.co.uk West Cornwall readers should use Cornishman.co.uk as their main source of local coverage.

You can also follow the breaking news on our Facebook pages and Twitter profiles:

@WestBriton

@CornishGuardian

@Cornishmanpaper

@Thisiscornwall will still continue to post news from the new sites, while @sportcornwall will provide the best sports coverage from across the Duchy.

    Thankyou for the ad block information babysitting withshirl, it really works. The ads were so annoying I was on the verge of not looking at the site again.

    I agree with Paddy Trembath, mid grey text on white isn't the best combination. It should be black on white for maximum readability.

    To stop your ads please go to Google type in Ad block. I did inform the West Briton approx two weeks ago. Shirley Sweeney

    Also, could something please be done about all the spam that seems to be taking over this site!

    The colour of the font used for the articles and the comments could do with tweaking. At the moment it is not that clear, and anyone with eyesight problems would have great difficulty in reading it.

    AS regards the ads they sometimes cover the article and the only way to get back to the article is to come out of the website altogether and go back in. I though it was just me but clearly not so

    Good luck but I have to say that I don't like the new layout and the ads that keep springing up are putting me off using the site.

    Well done for providing a very localised news service for people who live in Cornwall. I wish you all every success with the new sites.
