One person taken to hospital after two car collision near Redruth

TWO people had to be released from their vehicle following a two car collision in Redruth on New Year’s Day.

The incident happened at around 12.20am on Buller Hill in Redruth.

Police, ambulance and fire services were all called to the collision which involved a Peugeot 306 and a Kia Sedona.

A rear set passenger of the Peugeot was taken to hospital by ambulance.

All of the passengers in the Peugeot, one male and two females, were extracted by fire crews from Camborne and Redruth.

The road between Carnkie and Stithians lake was closed while emergency services dealt with the situation.
