Four men from the Newquay area have appeared before magistrates charged with unlawfully killing Michael Kearns on April 27.

Lewis Bowns, 25, of Lewarne Road, Newquay; Graham Andrew Lutey, 34, of Barlan Trenithon Farm, Summercourt; Richard Favetta, 29, of Penmere Drive, Pentire, Newquay, and Ian Michael Harold, 45, of Fernhill Road, Newquay, appeared before Bodmin Magistrates Court today.

The case had been committed to Truro Crown Court for November 29 and all four men have been released on unconditional bail.

The court heard that the four men all work as door staff and each have had their door staff licences suspended by the International Doormen Association.

They only spoke to confirm their names, ages and addresses.
