UNIVERSITY drama society FECCLES is returning to The Poly, Falmouth, with its latest production: a spectacular 1920s-style adaptation of As You Like It.
"All the world's a stage" with Shakespeare's classic pastoral comedy: a twisted tale of cross-dressing, bad poetry, wrestling and, of course, romance.
Lovers Rosalind and Orlando are both forced to flee to the Forest of Arden, an enchanting place filled with intrigue and somewhat peculiar characters. In a tangle of love, lust and mistaken identity, the rules of romance and gender roles are turned upside down in a play which reflects how baffling yet utterly wonderful life can be.
This simply marvellous adaptation is guaranteed to get your toes tapping with sparkling period costume, music and dance.
To bring a touch of 1920s glamour to your night, come along to Falmouth Poly this Thursday to Saturday. Tickets are available for £8 (£6 concessions) on www.thepoly.org and 01326 319461.
