I visited here for Mother's Day 2 years and had a great experience. The food was really good portion sizes and mouthwatering! It wasn't as expensive as I thought it'd be. They even gave my mum a little bunch of flowers too, which was very sweet!
I haven’t stayed in the hotel itself so can’t comment on that but I love the spa at St Michaels. I’ve been there a few times either just for a swim or to have treatments as well. The massages are fantastic and the treatment rooms are nicely decorated and very relaxing. A great way to pamper yourself. They also do vouchers as well which make welcome gifts.
I like the new dining room. The view is as good as ever. Food was good.
I really love the St Michaels Hotel, they have really nice leisure facilities and a luxury spa! The Flying Fish restaurant is delicious with amazing fish dishes and plenty of other options to choose from too. The restaurant/lounge bar has been recently refurbished and is a great place to relax after a swim or massage. I've never stayed in the rooms but if it's anything like the rest of the hotel i know i wouldn't be disappointed!
I have had many beauty treatments in the Spa at the St Michael's and found the service excellent and not too pricey. This, combined with lunch, is a good day out. The setting for lunch is contemporary and the view stunning. The food is good and again the prices reasonable for the setting. Their swimming pool, although not huge, is lovely. I have never stayed at the hotel as I am local but the contemporary feeling of the whole hotel has a good vibe.
