Two trapped motorists freed by Saltash, Liskeard and Bodm

Firefighters rescued two trapped motorists last night.

Two trapped motorists were rescued from separate vehicles after a crash on the A38 near Trerulefoot Roundabout last night.

Firefighters from Saltash, Liskeard adn Bodming rushed to the scene on the Saltash side of the roundabout at around 6.30pm.

One fire appliance from Saltash, one fire appliance from Liskeard and the rescue tender from Bodmin used cutting gear to release the casualties.

Officers cut both casualties free and left them in the care of the ambulance service before clearing up the scene and returning to their bases at around 8pm.
