- T'ai Chi at the Ben Ainslie Sports Centre, Truro School, Fridays 8 - 9.30 in term-time.
Tai Chi is a gentle form of exercise, with an emphasis on health and relaxation, and suitable for all ages. The Lee Style originated in ancient China, and was brought to the West in the 1930s. Tai Chi classes include a range of exercises, including:
T'ai Chi Form
T'ai Chi Dance
Chi Gung breathing exercises that help build up the body's energy or "chi"
T'ai Chi has many benefits, such as improving suppleness and flexibility, breathing and circulation, and helping to create a relaxed and focused state of mind that can help when dealing with the pressures of everyday life.
