“….While Sheppard’s watch their flocks by night….

Has anyone a traditional Cornish version of this well known Christmas carol that they would like to put up?

Thank you Kerneweger, what I was really looking for was a traditional choir, preferably a Cornish male voice choir that sing "While Shepherd's" in descant, the way only the Cornish can put it over, I have searched YouTube to no avail, which is surprising really knowing how many have sung this carol over the years.

Don't know if these may help? http://tinyurl.com/cdy6z3e Merry Christmas and A Peaceful New Year to you and yours.

This is how it should be sung - http://tinyurl.com/ca2d5j6 Here's another classic 'curl' that really takes me back - http://tinyurl.com/bpuh4zq Makes me sadly nostalgic for the days when you could hear such singing from many, many pubs here in the Duchy. Ah well, that's what they call progress I suppose. Callington Fox, never stop do you? Nadelik Lowen ha Blydhen Noweth Da! That goes out to all - even the Trolls...

Chopper8, I was not making any point at all this time, so I appologise.

"This is how it should be sung - http://tinyurl.com/ca2d5j6" Thank you both, yes this is how it should be done, without any backing to distract from good wholesome singing from the heart. Yes there weren't many pubs that didn't have this carol as their favourite at Christmas time.
