“News from up in Redruth. They celebrated their St Piran's Day today and the police estimate 5,000 people were in attendance! The Grand Bard of the Cornish Gorseth spoke to the crowds in Cornish and English calling for more Cornish history to be taught as the Cornish are not English. The crowds went wild, cheering and clapping. Photographs are fast spreading over facebook. Well done Redruth! Well said Grand bard!”

Check on Facebook chaps. The photographs are something else and then this evening the big Piran's concert up in London up England too. Thousands of expat Cornish people there to see Cornish bands perform. Hundreds of Cornish National flags! Just two events and the pictures are phenomenal. You should see Redruth ones! You couldn't get another person into their town! The film being posted on facebook shows how many were there and the singing of Trelawny was magnificent.

Excellent procession in St. Ives! It's getting busy out here on the sands at Perranporth too!

S4C TV from Wales are apparently down filming. The Cornish celebration of their National Saint has gone viral on the social media! Even today, people crowded over to Perran to see the Piran Oratory!
