“Didn't Mebyon Kernow come across brilliantly on Channel 4 news? An excellent interview with a well spoken Councillor from west Cornwall who revealed much about the truth about the way Cornwall is treated by Westminster. Good stuff!”

Didn't see it but all power to MK's elbow. There is going to be a huge shock for many come the next election. The true failures of Westminster are being revealed during the weather crisis and people are beginning to wake up.

While some of the nationalists go a bit too far in their ideals it is also true that the existing council does very little for the electorate tending to follow party dictate. And as it took flooding ion the Tory heartlands like Surrey and Kent to get them to do something we cannot trust them to help us.

    No Liberal Democrat "heartlands", then?

Amazing! He spoke his one line with real feeling. http://tinyurl.com/o5f7qs3 "We were told to get sandbags at Jewson, and they got soldiers when the Thames flooded." Missing the point entirely that the Thames flooding was far more serious in terms of property damage than any seen here in Cornwall up to that point.

Never let facts and perspective get in the way of things when trying to be a clever Cornish nationalist.

Well spoken the MK Councillor. At least he can be trusted to tell the truth unlike the Westminster politicians. Strange how when parts of England start to flood, things happen. Yet in our little country next door, those we pay our taxes to are strangely absent.

"Well spoken" AND a " MK Councillor"? That is very rare,

Lets not play party politics with this it is too much of a serious matter just to try and win brownie points with.
