Fire crews were called to an art studio in Bodmin at around 1pm today.

Fire had broken out at the studio, situated at Ruthern Bridge, Withiel, accidentally as a result of a heat gun being used to strip paint from a window.

Ten firefighters on two appliances from Bodmin attended the single storey wooden studio. On arrival it was believed that the fire was already out, but using a thermal imaging camera and small tools, the firefighters found and extinguished a small fire in the buildings insulation.
