Three seperate car accidents have taken place within half a mile of each other on the A30 near Bodmin this evening.
Two accidents happened on the northbound carriage way and one on the south at the junction at Bolventor.
One car was left overturned.
A 25-strong fire crew from Bodmin and Launceston stations were deployed just before 7.30pm.
A spokesperson for Cornwall Fire and Rescue said: "It is believed that the weather may have attributed to the accidents. No persons were trapped in any of the vehicles. Fire crews made the vehicles safe before leaving the scene."
Paramedics attended to one female casualty.
