“This museum is great for several things, you can gain free entry into this historical building as this is a great aspect that would bump up the museum's reputation as a whole. The exhibitions never cease to fascinate me as I like to expand my knowledge by researching specific artifacts, entering through those doors just makes me remember the first time I went there!”

As per most of the reviews, the museum is a great asset to Truro. It show a variety of work and regularly changes so you can visit time and time again to see the long standing and the new exhibitions. If you are ever in the area then well worth a visit.
I have always been a lover of history and this place has fed my passion for many years the ever changing exhibitions have always kept me coming back for more as I still go there on a regular basis to this day. I spend ages in the royal cornwall museum looking at the exhibitions, talking to the people there or just hanging out with my friends and best of all is the fact that is is completely free to enter!
Royal Conrwall museum is an amazing place to experience all of the past cultures that used to exist, it has it all and what makes it better is that it constantly changes its exhibitions to keep the public interested. I would pay to enter this place thats how good it is I recommend it to all of you history lovers out there!
Best thing about this place is that it’s free. I’ve only been inside once, but it was very interesting and i’d recommend it to any historians or anyone who has an interest in Truro’s history. The Victorian part of it is my favourite.
I remember visiting this place during a school trip and I was amazed by the amount of history on offer, every exhibition has a unique angle that draws you in and compells you to find out more, recent visits to the Royal Cornwall Museum prove just as thrilling and interesting as the first day I set foot inside. With free admission and so much on offer you would have to be mad not to visit at least once!
If you decide to check out the royal Cornwall museum you might want to put off what you were going to do with the rest of the day - this place has it all, different exhibitions that are constantly changing with detailed desciptions on each one. It is almost like going back in time as you get a real feel for the exhibitions - highly recommended for couples, interested individuals who are just passing by or the whole family, oh and to top it all of entry is FREE!
A great museum. I used to go here on school trips years ago. They've got some really great exhibits and it's free. The Egyptian section is amazing. If you're bored on a rainy day then check it out.
I'm a big fan of the Royal Cornwall Museum. I've taken my kids down there quite a few times and have found myself going in alone from time to time during a rainy lunch hour.
The summer looks like it will be good, I missed the last 'talk' but the Unseen Truro exhibition looks set to be brilliant. Some very distinctive images form Truro's forgotten past!
This is a great local museum that has some really interesting content. I like the Victorian section, my neice loves putting his head on the policeman cut out - I have about thirty pictures of him doing it! The good thing about the museum is that it is deceptively large, even in the Summer, you never feel rushed or cramped like you do in the city museums.
