SATURDAY, October 27, will see what promises to be a party to remember at Redruth's quirky but ever-popular Melting Pot Café situated at Krowji, the former Redruth Grammar School.

The theme will be Zombies, very appropriate for the Halloween season, and the party will be hosted by a collective of musicians, entertainers and film-makers, Mr Bones Presents.

Doors open at 5.30pm as this is very much a family event to which accompanied youngsters are invited as well, so a variety of Halloween-based games and treats are planned until the entertainment starts at 7pm.

Adding to the atmosphere will be a Zombie fancy dress with all partygoers invited to dress and even act the part and compete for the best-dressed zombie and a prize.

There will be food and other licensed refreshment available.

Tickets are available at £6 for adults and £3 for under 10s by either popping into the café or phoning 07915 252757. Advanced booking is strongly recommended although some will remain available at the door.
