Woman cut free from vehicle in Launceston crash

A WOMAN was cut free from the wreckage after a car and van collided at Petherwin Gate, near Launceston at 6.30pm today.

Twelve firefighters in two appliances from Launceston and five firefighters in a rescue tender from Bodmin attended the incident.

The woman, who was not seriously hurt, was cut free using crash rescue equipment. The road remains open.
