A man who died in a collision on the A39 at Winnards Perch has been named as Dr Andrzej Okreglicki.
The 51 year-old South African's Hyundai collided with an Audi near Wadebridge on June 24th. Four people travelling in the Audi were taken to Treliske with minor injuries.
It is thought Dr Andrzej Okreglicki had just completed the inaugural 100-mile three-day off-road run around the Cornish coastline.
Branded the UK's toughest race, the non-stop Ultra Trail South West began on Friday and finished on Sunday, just hours before the crash.
It is understood he was living and working in the UK but outside Cornwall.
