West Cornwall's scale model show has been a success so far today.
People as far as Birmingham have journeyed down to Penzance, braving the rain to enjoy the creative hobby.
A number of model clubs from across the South West and traders from even farther afield have been welcomed to the show, which takes place at St John's Hall in the town.
Simon Hammerton, who helps organise the event, said the early morning was "a little quiet" as last night's rain continued into the morning - but said the show has "livened up".
"It's going very well actually - we've had some one in army uniform going around town getting people to come along.
"Now the weather has brightened up we've had an influx of people come in. It's much livelier now.
"This morning it was very quiet but it's improved massively."
Mr Hammerton added everyone is keeping warm with pasties, teas and coffees. The event continues until 4pm.
