STICKY Fingers Day Care Nursery in Wadebridge has become one of the first companies in the county to install a donation station at their premises for Cornwall Hospice Care.

The donation stations are temporary boxes to encourage the parents and guardians of the children attending the nursery to donate unwanted clothing and bric-a-brac, which will be sold in the charity's shops across the county.

Nina Kneil, Retail Area Manager for Cornwall Hospice Care said:

"We are delighted that Sticky Fingers Day Care Nursery has taken one of the donation stations for the next few weeks.

“Although we do sell some new goods in our shop, the majority of income we generate for the charity comes from the sale of donated goods and we rely on the public to keep our shelves full.

“We have not used these donation stations before, but thought it would make it easier for people to drop off their goods at work or school, rather than making a special journey to one of our shops."
