Members of Falmouth police showed off their dancing skills in Falmouth's Events Square today as they filmed a "Gangnam Style" video for charity.
Sergeant Gary Watts persuaded colleagues and members of the public to join him in re-creating the popular music video by South Korean singer Psy

The finished video will go up on YouTube and will raise money for Joshua Wilson, a young boy from Lancashire who has been left with complex physical needs following surgery on a brain tumour.

The money raised from the video will go towards making adaptations to Joshua's home to meet his needs.
Sgt Watts said that he had vowed to make the Gangnam Style video if he reached 5,000 Twitter followers by the end of 2012, little thinking it would happen.

However, the word spread and having met his target Sgt Watts held true to his word. The video has been filmed at locations around Falmouth today.
Although the policemen and women who appeared in the video were off duty Sgt Watts said they were granted permission to wear their uniform.
The finished video is due to be uploaded to YouTube next week and members of the public will be invited to make donations for Joshua.
"Even if we raise £100 it's brilliant," said Sgt Watts.

One of the most noble policemen I ever met was based in Penryn police station. A good impression is remembered for years. Looking forward to seeing the finished production of this on YouTube. Does anyone know the username of the YouTube channel it will be appearing on? For a playlist of worldwide police Gangnam videos see my channel. underterraingrunter.

I dare say the Daily Mail will be rubbing their hands together as they do another "SHOCKING STORY" about how tax payers money has been wasted. Without any regard to the back story (or the truth). They'll be rubbing their hands together as they dream up another shoddy way to put a kink in the thin blue line.

Absolutely brilliant, we have some amazing cops in Falmouth. Joshua is a inspiration. Such a brave lil guy. I know for a fact Joshua will be all smiles when he see's the video. So hope folks give what ever they can at http://tinyurl.com/aeac63c to help Joshua. Joshua is always full of smiles, he's such a brave little chap. He's gone through so much in his life. If this helps raise money for adaptions to his house to make his life more comfortable I will be so pleased. I want to say thanks to Sgt Gary Watts and everyone else who was involved in this. Thankyou guys n gals. :-)
