VISITORS to an exhibition in Redruth have the chance to see photographs that have been show in national and international saloons.

The work of members of Camborne Redruth Camera club is on display in the Langman Room at the Cornwall Centre in Alma Place.

It features about 150 prints, taken over the last 12 months, displayed to international standards.

The club, which meets at Treleigh church hall on Thursday evenings, is nearing the end of its winter programme, and is preparing to embark on its summer schedule.

Club member Peter Keverne said: “Following our annual meeting and our awards evening, we will start our summer programme of field trips.

“We’ve got quite a reputation for running summer field trips.

“They are open to club members and to non members with an interest in photography.

“Full details can be found on our web site www.camborne-redruthcameraclub.co.uk.”

The exhibition at the Cornwall Centre runs until April 27 during normal library opening hours.
