Falmouth journalism graduate Chris Sayer has been appointed as front section editor of lads magazine FHM.

Mr Sayer will join an editorial team which is headed by another Falmouth journalism alumnus, Joe Barnes.

Prior to his appointment, he worked for more than two years at FRONT Magazine as an editorial assistant, a position he got after doing some work experience at the publication while a student at Falmouth.

He has also done a placement at The Times business desk in November of 2009 where he had several by-lines within the business and news sections.

Mr Barnes was a 2003 journalism graduate, who started his career as news editor and editor for FRONT Magazine and comes from a background as a freelance writer for The Guardian, The Sunday Telegraph and The Observer.
