Truro man David Hook charged with stealing luggage from train

British Transport Police arrested David Hook, 32, from Truro on a charge of theft from a train.

A Truro man has been arrested and charged with stealing luggage from a train in Cornwall.

David Hook, 32, from Kenwyn Street, was arrested by British Transport Police (BTP) officers and charged with theft of a passenger's property.

He has been bailed to attend Truro Magistrates Court on January 30.

The arrest followed a public appeal for information.

A BTP spokesman said: “I would like to thank the public and the local press for their vital assistance in this investigation.”
