Truro City's home Calor League premier division game against Weymouth this evening has been postponed following a noon pitch inspection.
City chairman Pete Masters said 70 per cent of the pitch was unplayable.
City had been hoping to bounce back from Saturday’s controversial 3-2 defeat at Corby Town, when they had defender Arran Pugh red carded for a t“professional” foul, which has earned him a one match ban and he will miss City’s trip to St Albans on Saturday week.
They are next due in action on Saturday at home to Arlesey Town who are expected to include former City favourite Barry Hayles in their squad.
Also tonight, St Austell take on St Day in the quarter-finals of the Cornwall Senior Cup at Poltair Park (7.30pm).
The club reported that the pitch is reasonable shape and are confident the game will be able to go ahead after being postponed on Saturday.
There is also the long delayed third round tie between Launceston and St Dennis which will go ahead after a pitch inspection at the eighth attempt at Pennygillam (7.30pm) with the winners at home to Saltash Utd on Saturday.
