Tintagel hit by shop burglaries

Police in North Cornwall are investigating a spate of shop burglaries in Tintagel.

The incidents occurred overnight between Wednesday and Thursday at properties located in Bossiney Road.

A hardware shop was entered by forcing a window and once inside a quantity of cash was stolen.

Cash was also stolen from the Roseberry where access was gained by forcing open the front door.

Two other properties were targeted in the same road, the Tintagel Honey Shop, where entry was gained by forcing a side door and cash stolen, and Uncle Jacks Cabin was entered by forcing a side door and following a search a quantity of cash was also taken.
