Heyl St Piran singers hosted Barnstaple Ladies choir for an evening of music to raise money for charity.
Saturday evening saw the two choirs perform together at Marazion Community Centre in aid of St Julia’s Hospice in Hayle.
The event raised £843 for the hospice, which is the choir’s charity of the year.
Ann Birch, member of St Piran Singers, said: “There was a wonderful atmosphere. It was packed to capacity. I think the Barnstaple choir enjoyed it very much. Everyone was very pleased.
“We have been very fortunate to get some extremely generous raffle prizes, given by local businesses and there was a lucky programme which won a special prize.”
The choirs kept the audience entertained throughout the evening and there was a talk about the work of St Julia’s Hospice.
Organisers would like to thank Philps Pasties for donating pasties for the evening.
