THE ANNUAL Harvest Feast Auction in St Erth took more money than ever on Friday night.
More than £1,700 was raised from the auction, which included items such as a trip to the Isles of Scilly, surfing lessons and a weekend break.
Organised by the St Erth Feast Committee and now in its 44th year, the event raises money to buy Christmas lunch for all the senior citizens in the village.
St Erth Feast Committee treasurer, Heather Pascoe, said: “We are absolutely over the moon. Everything went; I think every year the money goes up. The atmosphere was really lovely. Without the support of the villagers and people outside the village we couldn’t do it.”
The committee would like to thank Matt and Debbie at the Star Inn for hosting the event.
The next fundraiser held by the committee is a Scarecrow and Bonfire night on Saturday September 2.
