PORTHTOWAN'S Eco Park will dedicate a night to the finest new sounds in soul on Friday as they welcome London/New York collaboration Ephemerals to the stage in the Barn.

Ephemerals are fronted by the Franglo-American sensation Wolf, who was born and raised in New York before moving to Paris when he was 14. He only began singing in public three years ago but has quickly established himself as a continental star.

The band's debut album features heavy grooves and slick production, with Wolf's distinctive howl on top. Subject matter includes love, social justice, environmental damage and self determination.

Kicking off the night's musical treats will be Cornwall's own Ambassadors of Sorrow, fronted by the delicious and captivating Angeline Morrison.

Late night tunes come from the Revered Al Bean and Booby Soul, and Café Irie will be on hand serving a 100% veggie soul food supper of corn mole and black-eyed caviar.

Tickets are £8 in advance or £10 on the door.

Call the Eco Park office on 01209 891500 to book your tickets, or head to www.wegottickets.com
