The rain is set to keep coming to Cornwall with another weather warning issued.
There was no relief in sight as the Met Office issued another yellow “be aware” warning for heavy rain on Saturday.
The warning comes on top of a warning for heavy rain and gale-force winds on Wednesday, strong winds on Thursday and heavy rain again on Friday.
A Met Office spokesman said: “Yet another area of low pressure is expected to develop near the Azores, then move northeastwards across England and Wales during Friday afternoon and evening, clearing to the east on Saturday morning.
“The associated frontal systems will bring spells of heavy and persistent rain, especially across the southern parts of England and Wales. The rain will also be accompanied by gales.”
The Met Office said the very strong winds expected tomorrow could cause problems for residents.
The spokesman said: “The public should be prepared for the risk of disruption to transport and possibly also power supplies. In addition, large waves are likely to affect some coasts.”
