A Redruth woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder relating to a fire in a Truro care home six years ago.
In 2008, a 96-year-old resident at Rosewyn House Care Home, Gladys Dora Rowe, died as a result of smoke inhalation following a fire at the Alverton Terrace property.
Yesterday police arrested a 40-year-old in Truro in connection with the fire.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said the suspect has been released on police bail until May 27 2014.
The fire broke out at the property during the night on November 24 2008.
Firefighters pulled residents from their beds, but one elderly resident later died at hospital from smoke inhalation.
Mystery has so far surrounded the cause of the fire, with investigators unable to explain what ignited the blaze.
Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting reference GT/13/1051.
