There are huge reasons to be optimistic for England rugby fans despite Saturday's opening day loss to France.
That was the view of head coach Stuart Lancaster after the heartbreaking defeat at the Stade de France.
Lancaster praised his side's recovery powers after coming back from 16-3 down to lead with just three minutes to go.
He was especially pleased with the way his inexperienced backs coped with the pressure.
England now travel to Scotland for round two of the championship, where they will be hoping to pick up their first win of the campaign.
