Primark is the one that you want.

Primark is overwhelmingly the shop that readers would like to see in Truro, acording to our poll.

Nearly half - 49% - of readers chose Primarni over any other brand when we asked which shop they would most like to see in the massive new shopping centre being talked about for the Pydar Street site.

Next popular was H&M (10%), followed by Zara (9%). On 8 % was John Lewis - but this was also the percentage of people who said they wanted 'none of the above' shops - presumably preferring inependents to big national and international chains.

Five per cent of people wanted to see all of the shops come to town.

Born and raised in truro,i would love to see more big names come to the city. More big name shops, a new multiplex cinema and a better swimming pool would be great.

I don't, but if not, what are they doing commenting on "This is Cornwall"?

Shame that Cornish people want to exploit sweatshops in the 3rd World. We don't need a mall in Truro, it will make it just like every other identikit town in Britain. The independent shops will be forced out by higher rates and rents.
