A 67-YEAR-OLD Pool man has admitted downloading more than 2,000 indecent images of children to his computer.
At Truro Crown Court on Tuesday, Anthony Edwards, of Agar Road, admitted 12 counts of making indecent images between May 5 and July 12 last year.
The charges related to images at level one to four on the scale used by police to categorise such material, with five being the highest.
Judge Christopher Harvey Clark, QC, told Edwards that it was a serious matter and adjourned the case to February 5 for the preparation of a pre-sentence report.
Edwards was granted unconditional bail and ordered to sign the sex offenders’ register.
