GENEROUS Brownies in Pool helped raise funds for a sister troop in Oxford who “lost everything” in recent floods.
First Pool Brownies drew up the outline of a girl guiding trefoil and filled it in using their spare change.
The money used was then counted up and donated to West Oxford Rainbows and Brownies.
Siobhan Bennet, volunteer at Pool Brownies said: “They all worked really hard to make it perfect and were very proud of there efforts as were all their unit leaders and helpers.
“The mass count began and they raised an amazing £36.78. Which will be divided between ourselves and our sister unit.”
The sister unit in Oxford said the money will help replace much needed items and thanked the Pool Brownies for their effort.
