Police release CCTV footage to help Newquay robbery investigation

Police in the Newquay area are seeking a man who is wanted in connection with a robbery.

The incident occurred during the early hours of Wednesday 22nd August in Newquay town centre. The victim was assaulted and cash from his wallet stolen.

Police are looking to identify the unknown man in the photos obtained from CCTV footage.

The man is described as a white male, 6’5” tall, well built approx 16-18 stone, bald (grade 1 or 2), about 20 years old.

He is believed to be linked to Newquay and frequent the local bars and nightclubs.

If seen please contact police on 101 rather than approaching him yourself.
