POLBATHIC Players are busy preparing for their annual panto showcase this month.

Performers are busy putting the finishing touches to The Ice Queen And Wizard's Thingy, written by Willie Balfour and Tony Bowditch.

Shows are on February 4, 5, 9, 10, 11 and 12. Tickets are available at St Germans Shop and Tredinnick Farm Shop, or by calling 01503 230281. A charity performance will take place on Wednesday, February 9, where all proceeds will go to the Children's Hospice South West's Precious Lives Appeal.
