HOW MANY more dwellings does Truro need?
Now we get Duchy College putting in an application for approximately 150 more.
Ploughing up good agricultural greenfield sites to appease developers and institutions has got to stop; Cornwall just can't cope any more.
The infrastructure isn't there; the hospitals are full up, Social Services can't cope, transportation is inadequate and the schools are overcrowded. Is anyone at County Hall listening to us?
Every week in the media we get applications all over the county for hundreds of houses here and hundreds of houses there; is anyone keeping a record of the total?
Aren't we supposed to have a limit, or has that gone by the window as we Cornish say.
All these dwellings, you can bet your bottom dollar, are not for the locals.
What with wind farms, solar panels and now carving up Cornwall for profiteers, it makes you wonder what Cornwall will be like in a few years' time; it's madness and planners should be ashamed at what they are doing to our county.
Are any of them actually Cornish?
It makes you wonder, doesn't it? Funny they never want to build these luxury houses in Four Lanes. I wonder why?
Good job, my ansome.
