Paramedics treat injured after St Blazey crash

Police, paramedics and firefighters were called to an accident in St Blazey this evening after a two vehicle collision.

The accident happened on the A390 between Bridge Street and Aberdeen Close at around 7. 30pm

Fire crews from St Austell and the rescue tender from Bodmin went to the scene and found one person had been released prior to their arrival, but another person was trapped.

They used crash rescue equipment to free the casualty and a Westcountry Ambulance crew treated the injured at the scene.
