A PENRYN theatre group is to again stage a pantomime with a unique twist.
Panto-in-the-Pub is running for a 14th consecutive year and will take place in the Seven Stars, Penryn.
Cast member Paul Chapman said: "The audience can expect lots of tongue-in-cheek comedy.
"Each year we aim to give a modern twist to an old classic, addressing several contemporary issues in the town."
This year's title is Hansel And Gretel And The Bulldozer Of Doom, in which the siblings find themselves in unlikely territory when abandoned in Glasney Woods by their stepmother.
Lost, alone and frightened, Hansel and Gretel encounter a host of enemies as they attempt to rescue Penryn from destruction.
Mr Chapman said: "There are between 25 and 30 people working on this production, with 14 cast members acting in it. We've been practising twice a week."
The pantomime runs every night from Saturday through to February 8 and tickets are available for £6, in advance only, from The Seven Stars in Penryn.
