Lanner referee Martin Ault will take charge of Tuesday’s big Cornwall Senior Cup semi-final between hot rivals St Austell and St Blazey at Newquay’s Mount Wise ground (7.30pm).
Ault is joined by assistant referees George Pattison and David Dodson, with Nigel D’Arcy as fourth official.
Wednesday’s semi-final between holders Bodmin Town and Saltash United will be refereed by Ian Roberts from Camborne.
Assistant referees will be Michael Wroblewski and Ryan Cornelius, with Chris Stevens as fourth official.
Stevens is a controversial choice. Three weeks ago he was the referee who sent off Martin Burgess for alleged remarks the Saltash manager made towards him during the Senior Cup quarter-final tie at Launceston.
Burgess has refused to comment on what was the first sending off of his football career, either as a player or manager, but he is appealing against the decision.
Stevens has also been an unpopular figure in some Bodmin Town matches over the last two seasons, incurring the wrath of manager Darren Gilbert on several occasions.
