A 17-YEAR-OLD boy from Newquay is set to stand trial accused of sexual activity with two underage girls.
The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, faces three counts of engaging in penetrative sexual activity with one girl, who also cannot be named for legal reasons, between February and August last year at Newquay.
He is further accused of assaulting a second girl by penetration with part of a body in September last year at St Austell.
He is also accused of common assault on one of the girls and harassment without violence on the other.
At Truro Youth Court on Thursday [feb13], the boy indicated a not guilty plea to the charges.
The boy will go on trial at Bodmin Youth Court in May.
