Cornwall’s Jack Nowell has kept his place on the right wing in the England team which will play Scotland in the Calcutta Cup clash at Murrayfield on Saturday (5pm).
The 20-year-old from Newlyn, who plays for Exeter Chiefs, made his England debut in the Six Nations opener against France at Paris last weekend and impressed after an uncertain start, though England lost the game to a late converted French try.
And he has now been given a vote of confidence by England head coach Stuart Lancaster when an unchanged team for Murrayfield was announced this morning.
Lancaster said: “It’s good to be able to select the same players and they are all determined to put last week’s result behind us and build on the performance.
"Scotland will be hugely motivated by their defeat in Dublin and, as we found two years ago, Murrayfield is a tough place to play.”
