A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a collision with a car on the A374 at Trerulefoot.
The accident happened at 2.30pm today between the Trerulefoot Roundabout and the A387 junction.
A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police said the man's injuries were not life threatening or life changing, but that he had suffered broken and dislocated bones.
The elderly driver of the car was checked over by paramedics but was allowed to return home.
The road remains closed in both directions while police wait for a recovery vehicle to remove the motorbike.
