A MILK thief is on the loose in Newquay after bottles were swiped from doorsteps in the Treloggan area.
Disgruntled homeowners, fed up with having nothing to pour on their breakfast cereal in the mornings, have resorted to contacting the police in a bid to snare the culprit.
The milk snatcher last struck at Polwhele Road between 2.30am and 8am on Tuesday, June 25, officers have revealed.
A force spokesman said: “Milk was taken from the doorstep without permission and there have been other similar thefts of milk in the Treloggan area of Newquay.
“Anyone with information can contact police on 101 quoting crime number GN/13/1218.”
