A man was treated for smoke inhalation and minor burns after his car caught on fire near Callington this morning.
Paramedics and firefighters were called to the scene of the incident in Harrowbarrow at around 9.15am today.
A representative from Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service said when the crew arrived they found the car well alight.
Firefighters used high pressure hose reels to extinguish the blaze.
A spokesman from Southwest Ambulance service said a rapid response vehicle and ambulance were sent to the scene.
The casualty was treated for smoke inhalation and minor burns to his hands.
