The death of a man whose body was found in a home at Carlyon Close in Truro this morning is being treated as “unexplained.”
Police detectives are currently at the ground floor flat on City Road attempting to determine the cause of death.
A police spokesman confirmed the death is not yet being treated as suspicious until the circumstances have been investigated.
The alarm was raised by a member of public at 11.45am.
Neighbors and nearby workers describe seeing a number of police officers and ambulance crews arrive at the scene at around 12pm this afternoon.
Sid Oates, a builder working close to Carlyon Close, said that after hearing nothing in the morning "half a dozen ambulances and police officers arrived."
It is understood that the flats are owned by a housing association company.
A number of officers remain at the scene.
