Police and paramedics were called to deal with an injured man near the County Arms pub, Truro.

Police and paramedics in Truro were dealing with a casualty in the street on Highertown in Truro.

Emergency services were called to the scene near the County Arms pub and hotel with reports of a man being injured.

The man was understood to have been walking in the area when he became injured – the circumstances of his injury are not yet clear.

Paramedics were treating the man at the scene. A passer-by who did not want to be named said he appeared to be conscious and the extent of his injuries was unknown.
