A man has been taken to hospital after being involved in a car accident on the A389 near Bodmin.
Emergency services were called out to the single vehicle incident involving a red Peugeot 106 which ended up on its roof on the Dunmere to Washaway road at 6.30am this morning.
The male driver, believed to be from Bodmin, was trapped in the vehicle and had to be cut free by firefighters.
A spokeswoman for Devon and Cornwall Police, said: “Police, fire and ambulance all attended. The man suffered injuries but they are not serious.”
The driver was taken to Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro.
The road remains partially blocked northbound while a recovery vehicle is waited to remove the overturned car.
