Residents of Lostwithiel who found themselves battling floodwater in the run up to Christmas are being invited to attend a drop in session aimed at providing help and advice.
During the session staff from the Environment Agency, police, Cornwall Council's localism and highways services, the local council, the voluntary sector and a range of other agencies will be talking to affected residents, helping them learn more about what happened and looking at what more can be done to safeguard against similar situations in the future.
The surgery will take place at the Lostwithiel Community Centre, Liddicoat Road, this Thursday (January 10) from 6.30pm to 8pm.
More information, including a flood recovery advice pack is available on the Council's website www.cornwall.gov.uk/flooding. Members of the public can also call the Council for flood advice on 0300 1234 100.
